Improvisational piecing using hand dyed and printed fabrics as well as personal photographs printed on cotton sateen.

Collage of hand painted fabrics made immediately following the November elections. Machine appliquéd and quilted. Encouraged in the no-plan spontaneous workshop with Gerry Chase.

Materials: Cotton fabrics, Linen, Cotton threads Techniques: Screenprinting with Paints, Photo-transfer, Stamping, Stencilling, Machine Quilting

Rusted sateen cotton, stamped Procion dyes, hand and machine quilted.

Machine piecing, machine applique, machine quilting.
